CanvasRenderingContext2D.shadowOffsetX

The CanvasRenderingContext2D.shadowOffsetX property of the Canvas 2D API specifies the distance that shadows will be offset horizontally.

Syntax

ctx.shadowOffsetX = offset;
offset
A float specifying the distance that shadows will be offset horizontally. The default value is 0. Infinity and NaN values are ignored.

Examples

Using the shadowOffsetX property

This example uses the shadowOffsetX property to apply a horizontal offset to a shadow. Note that shadows are only drawn if the shadowColor property is set to a non-transparent value, as well.
