navigator.maxTouchPoints

The maxTouchPoints read-only property of the Navigator interface returns the maximum number of simultaneous touch contact points are supported by the current device.

Syntax

touchPoints = navigator.maxTouchPoints;

Example

if (navigator.maxTouchPoints > 1) {
  // browser supports multi-touch
}
